Responsibilities

  • Audit, troubleshoot, and resolve PeopleSoft (PS) data issues
  • Make data adjustments in the system, including adding, extracting, and uploading HR data
  • Process PeopleSoft, QlikView, and other HRIS security requests and participate in the University-Wide Yearly Access Review audits
  • Assist with PeopleSoft ePerformance maintenance, new PS release implementations when necessary, and staff salary increase/review processing
  • Process HR personnel transactions as needed
  • Design and produce HR surveys and present analysis using Qualtrics and Excel
  • Work on HRIS-related projects and assist with other technical department-wide projects when needed
  • Participate on multiple University-wide HRIS committees
  • Act as a backup for the Associate Director of HRIS
  • Consulting with HR managers and other departments to determine HRIS needs
  • Analyzing HRIS performance metrics and resolving application issues
  • Documenting processes, identifying HR concerns, and compiling data analysis reports
  • Performing application upgrades, as well as providing training and technical support
  • Developing and implementing new processes and systems for efficient HR management
  • Optimizing HRIS processes, integrating new software, and performing diagnostic tests
  • Ensuring the efficient recording and secure storage of HR metrics, including attendance and employee performance data
  • Performing audits on HR processes and documents, including hiring, termination of service, and payroll administration, when required
  • Conduct all standard duties of a business systems analyst including, but not limited to: gather requirements and define as-is vs to-be processes; develop scope in line with system capabilities; write test scripts and coordinate all UAT efforts; create documentation, training, and change management resources; support deployment and cutover activities
  • Manage projects, or collaborate with our HR PMO as needed, from start to finish that have been committed to on our roadmap
  • Partner closely with IT for alignment on platform and technical expertise, as well as periodic system upgrades, which include evaluating newly released HR features and developing plans for adoption if in support of operational needs
  • Use your expertise and understanding of the business to influence the HR Business Applications roadmap
  • Provide day-to-day production support for our HR Business Applications, which currently include ServiceNow HR and Simpplr
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned
