Requirements

  • Minimum of four years of experience with a generalist background in various areas of HR.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field is required.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a first point of contact in answering various HR questions to include benefits, policies, handbook, leaves of absences, payroll, etc.
  • Processes weekly payroll in ADP and inputs data on internal audit spreadsheets to ensure quality control. Verifies time and attendance and resolves discrepancies.
  • Ensures a positive experience in interacting with new hires in the preboarding process through orientation after start.
  • Conducts benefits orientation for new hires.
  • Works with the HRBP in the administration of various leaves of absences and accommodation requests.
  • Conducts exit interviews and provides quarterly reports with trend data.
  • Supports employee engagement initiatives to drive a high-performance culture.
  • Collaborates with and supports the HR team in company-wide initiatives and projects to include annual performance evaluations, goal setting, bonus/merit notifications, training and organizational development activities, OFCCP compliance, and other projects as needed.
  • Supports the processing of the Employee Referral Program.
  • Serves as primary point of contact for Workers Compensation and Unemployment.
  • Creates and maintains electronic employee records.
  • Processes status changes including benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Serves as backup to other functional areas within HR, including front desk coverage.
  • Updates and maintains the external HR SharePoint site.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to job function.
  • Performs other related duties, projects, and initiatives as assigned.
