Responsibilities

  • Ensure Corporate Objectives, Policies and Procedures are implemented within designated area.
  • Review internal HSE policies and practices to ensure they are current and appropriate; conduct hazard and risk assessments and change existing or develop new recommendations from these assessments.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards in office and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Organize health and safety training programs for employees and subcontractors to ensure everyone is aware of safety protocols.
  • Develop and manage emergency response plans for potential risks, including fire, chemical spills, or equipment failure.
  • Actively participate in the scheduling of safety meetings across Company locations to review HSE performance and policies.
  • Oversee the assessment of potential environmental impacts.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to local, national, and international environmental regulations.
  • Develop strategies for managing waste, reducing emissions, and controlling pollution (e.g., water, air, and soil pollution).
  • Ensure that the company complies with legal and industry-specific regulations, such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 (Health and Safety Management).
  • Develop and maintain HSE management plans and manuals, ensuring they are up-to-date and communicated to all relevant personnel.
