Responsibilities

  • Provide top quality service at all times to internal and external customers. Greet staff, visitors, students, and campus partners. Use initiative to resolve concerns independently and in a tactful manner. Provide support to HR teammates and HR leadership. Create and implement efficiencies that have a positive impact on customer service.
  • Provides administrative support functions for the HR office. Schedules and organizes meetings, calendars and office activities utilizing Sharepoint and Outlook. Maintains monthly task lists, metrics and deadlines. Finalizes audits of completed processes utilizing checklists within ticket system. Utilizes internal software and processes to complete tasks and communicate with coworkers.
  • Assist applicants and new hires with completing and submitting required paperwork. Explains procedures. Handles sensitive and secure documents appropriately. Handles confidential, routine and non-routine information. Advises managers and supervisors on HR processes and requirements for employment related matters.
  • Maintains and updates filing systems for the HR office. Manages collection of recurring employment documents and files. Retrieves information from files when needed. Photocopies and transmits information and documents. Performs data entry.
  • Assists with keying employee position assignments into HRIS. Assist with marketing, recruiting, advertisement for open positions and assists with application process.
  • Completes special projects, including disseminating information. Works independently and as a team on nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
