Responsibilities

  • - Provide a supportive role to the imaging team ensuring the delivery of an efficient and effective service
  • - Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to give the best quality of service by assisting radiographers, nurses and medical staff
  • - Maintain a caring, co-operative and flexible approach to working practices while upholding a professional attitude for the dignity and well-being of the patient
  • - Take part in our 24/7 365 day service providing excellent care to the local population
  • - Cover shifts consisting of 12.5 and 8 hr days and nights
  • - Perform reception / clerical duties including data entry
  • - Work clinically alongside Radiographers within Imaging rooms and on portable imaging
  • - Act as a Fire Warden to the team (training given)
  • - Carry out varied duties including data input, reception duties, direct patient care, assisting Diagnostic Radiographers, maintaining stock in clinical areas and departmental cleanliness
