Yes, valid certifications from the Society of Cable Telecommunication Engineers (SCTE) BFTS and BDS are required to be obtained within six months of employment for all external candidates and internal candidates outside of Network Operations.

What kind of technical skills are necessary for this position?

Candidates should have advanced knowledge of RF and IP technologies, HFC design, optical test equipment, and a fundamental understanding of Video Networking, IP, and DOCSIS.
