What are the working hours for the Inspector - Sign Administration position?
The working hours are Monday - Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., though this may be subject to change.
What are the minimum educational requirements for this position?
A High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required, along with up to 18 months of education or training in the area of inspection to be performed.
How much experience is required for this role?
Two (2) years of journey level or skilled experience related to the area of inspection are required.
Is a driver's license required for this position?
Yes, a valid Texas driver's license is required, along with compliance with the City of Houston's policy on driving.
Are there any preferences for candidates applying for this job?
Yes, preference may be given to candidates with a working knowledge of the Houston Sign Code and those who are fluent in Spanish.
