What technologies will I be working with?
You will predominantly work with React on the frontend, and a combination of Python and Node microservices on the backend, along with other technologies like Gitlab, AWS, Postgres, Redis, Datadog, Amplitude, and Snowflake.
What is the team structure like?
The engineering team consists of around 80 engineers organized into several focus areas including travel and fintech, and you will work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and QA in an agile environment.
What are the growth opportunities in this role?
You may grow along the individual contributor (IC) track into a Senior Software Engineer position, and from there into a Staff Software Engineer or Engineering Manager role.
What kind of projects will I be working on?
You will tackle technical challenges spanning both frontend and backend web development, including building features for our fintech, travel, and superapp products.
Is experience in a startup environment preferred?
Yes, experience in a startup environment is considered a bonus point for candidates.

What is the expected experience level for this position?
We are looking for candidates with 3+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 1+ years with Python or Node on the backend and 2+ years with a modern frontend JavaScript framework like React.

Yes, you will have the opportunity to own features, services, caches, and databases, including deployment, monitoring, debugging, and testing.
