Responsibilities

  • This role consists of testing Ericsson’s 5G base station products with our Strategic UE (User Equipment) partners. The role requires the employee to:
  • Apply knowledge of wireless communication protocols (e.g. 3GPP, LTE, 5G)
  • Take on detailed testing of 5G capabilities while working with visiting UE vendors who are testing their equipment in our labs
  • Trouble-shooting issues to determine if they are our issue or the UE vendor’s issue
  • Writing trouble reports on the issues found
  • Supporting/working with our designers teams to investigate and help address our issues
  • Write test report and record test results
  • Work extensively in a test lab environment
  • Support the development of automated testing, where appropriate
  • Develop in depth competence in technical testing domains and with test tools
