Requirements

Sie verfügen über einen Masterabschluss in Informations-, Kommunikations- oder Elektrotechnik, Informatik, Physik oder einem verwandten technischen Bereich.
Sie weisen eine Qualifikation als European Patent Attorney und/oder deutscher Patentanwalt oder deutsche Patentanwältin auf.
Idealerweise bringen Sie bereits Kenntnisse oder Erfahrungen in einem der Bereiche Automatisierung / Digitalisierung von Schienenfahrzeugen bzw. der Eisenbahntechnik, Kommunikation, Simulation, künstliche Intelligenz oder Cloud / loT mit, zumindest aber sind Sie motiviert, sich hier einzuarbeiten.
Sie besitzen zudem ein ausgeprägtes Interesse sowohl an rechtlichen als auch an geschäftsorientierten Fragestellungen.
Mit unternehmerischem, strategischem Denken und Handeln sowie guter Ausdrucksfähigkeit beraten Sie unsere Geschäftseinheiten hochwertig und zielführend.
Ihre sehr guten Kenntnisse der deutschen und englischen Sprache in Wort und Schrift nutzen Sie täglich in Korrespondenzen mit unterschiedlichen internen und externen Ansprechpartnern.

Responsibilities

Sie beraten unsere Geschäftseinheiten zuverlässig hinsichtlich der richtigen Wahl des Rechtsschutzes mit Patenten, Marken, Designs, Copyrights, Geschäftsgeheimnissen, etc.
Sie gestalten "Ihren" Teil des Siemens Patentportfolios im Bereich der Siemens Mobility mit. Sie identifizieren und akquirieren strategisch bedeutsame Erfindungen, wirken bei Anmeldeentscheidungen mit, arbeiten Patentanmeldungen aus, führen verantwortungsvoll Patenterteilungsverfahren vor den Patentämtern und verteidigen unsere Patente ggf. gegen Angriffe Dritter.
Sie übernehmen die Vertretung vor dem Deutschen Patent- und Markenamt und dem Europäischen Patentamt sowie vor dem Bundespatentgericht und korrespondieren mit Kolleg*innen im In- und Ausland.
Zudem identifizieren Sie Verwertungspotential und begleiten Lizenzierungsaktivitäten.
Sie bewerten Fremdschutzrechtsrisiken und begleiten risikominimierende Maßnahmen auf allen Märkten weltweit und verhandeln IP-Klauseln in Verträgen.
Bei all diesen Aktivitäten arbeiten Sie eng mit den operativen Geschäftseinheiten zusammen und entwickeln so ein tiefes Verständnis für das Geschäft und seine Ziele. Sie kennen die Geschäfts- und Innovationsstrategie und erstellen auf ihrer Basis erfolgreiche IP-Strategien.
