What is the primary responsibility of an IT Local Support Professional?
The primary responsibility is to provide IT technical support for laptops and desktops, ensuring successful fault resolution and that services are delivered within agreed SLAs.
What level of technical support will I be providing?
You will act as a 2nd level technical support escalation point to the IT Management team.
How many years of experience do I need for this role?
A minimum of 1 year of work experience in a technical support type of role is required.
Which operating systems should I be familiar with?
A good understanding of Windows operating systems, specifically Windows 7, 10, and 11, is necessary.
Are there specific networking technologies I need to know?
Yes, knowledge of networking technologies and PC technology, such as WLAN, Cisco switches, and patching cabinets, is required.
What applications should I be familiar with?
Familiarity with laptop/desktop applications, such as Office 365 and ticketing systems, is preferred.
Do I need to speak additional languages besides English?
Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in an additional language is preferable, but Dutch language skills are not a must.
