Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of one or several services within Network Connectivity area.
  • Propose the policies and directives, strategic directions, long term plan and roadmaps for those services.
  • Focus on service strategy and service design: drive innovation and lead the development of services based on prioritized business requirements that are provided by the demand organizations who use those services.
  • Continuously promote the service offerings to optimize their usage and deliver maximum value to the business while fostering open communication channels to actively listen to service user feedbacks to enhance existing services and inform future developments.
  • Manage the content of the Network infrastructure catalogue, projects, and deliveries, in order to optimize the partner deliveries and the cost of the services for Volvo as well as continual improvement of the usability and ease of selection, of ordering and of implementation of the services.
  • Secure input to contractual negotiations to modify, clarify or optimize the services provided by the main supplier and potentially with sub-suppliers or other direct Volvo suppliers of infrastructure services, software or hardware.
  • Monitor the actual services levels, control that they are in line with targeted service levels and manage corrective actions with the supplier.
  • Participate in selected runtime process interactions with the supplier: releases and deployments oversight, change management approvals, handling escalations regarding owned services.
  • Commercially responsible for services delivered by the supplier, which includes both budgeting and follow-up, notably approving all service volumes invoiced by the supplier.
