Responsibilities

  • Test and improve existing purchasing process mappings and work instructions; support training material creation for the new indirect procurement buying team
  • Purchase indirect procurement goods/services for given commodities from Bangalore, India
  • Support existing tasks and review training documentation; propose adjustments to increase exactitude and clarity
  • Participate in team reviews
  • Convert end users requests for goods/services into purchase orders in a timely manner
  • Resolve issues preventing payments to vendors
  • Support Help Desk activities; respond to vendors, end users (colleagues) and Commodity Specialists / Managers.
  • Provide assistance to end users on new vendors addition to our supply base
  • Complete Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and compliance activities
  • Share best practices; propose adjustments to tools, processes and communication methods
  • Adapt work priorities to circumstances; maintain a high customer service standard
