Responsibilities

  • Lateral Partner Recruiting:
  • Coordinate and facilitate lateral partner hiring process.
  • Prepare and coordinate candidate interview schedules.
  • Prepare and send candidate pre-interview materials.
  • As appropriate, coordinate candidate travel via Travel Department
  • Serve as key point of contact for candidates, search firms, and Sponsoring Partners regarding candidate interviews. Develop relationships with headhunters.
  • Coordinate with other Recruiting personnel during candidate visits to their offices
  • Work with London Recruiting Manager regarding European, Middle East and Asia partner candidates.
  • Work with Sponsoring Partners, candidates, and recruiters to ensure that all diligence forms are received in a timely fashion and maintained in Lawcruit database; follow up aggressively as necessary.
  • Work with Chief of Lateral Partner Recruiting and Integration to ensure that recruiters presenting candidates have agreed to K&S search terms and conditions.
  • Work with Sponsoring Partners to draft talking points on candidates.
  • Work with Chief of Lateral Partner Recruiting and Integration and Sponsoring Partners to prepare first draft of PC memos.
  • Maintain lateral partner tracking sheet, including contacting Sponsoring Partners for regular updates.
  • Assist Chief of Lateral Partner Recruiting and Integration with preparation of PC update emails and materials.
  • Ensure all lateral partner candidates are entered into tracking database.
  • Prepare PC packages.
  • Prepare and send lateral partner transition materials to candidates prior to arrival.
  • Prepare compensation memos.
  • Prepare first draft of offer letter for Chief of Lateral Partner Recruiting and Integration review and coordinate revisions and execution.
  • Update and maintain candidate pre-interview materials on an ongoing basis.
  • Direct unsolicited resumes received to Chief of Lateral Partner Recruiting and Integration for review.
  • Review and analyze LPQ’s for completeness that are submitted by candidates.
  • Track key lateral moves in market by looking at news stories and other electronic media.
  • Lateral Partner Integration
  • Touch base with lateral partner (1st week, 2nd week and 4th week) to ensure integration is underway and work closely with Associate Director of Lateral Recruiting on the integration checklist plan.
  • Participate in lateral partner orientation meetings, as requested.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining the Key Resources Binder for new/lateral partners.
  • Work with Associate Director of Lateral Recruiting, Sponsoring Partners and lateral partners to ensure that integration plan is being developed and executed.
  • Develop ideas to improve/facilitate lateral partner integration.
  • Other
  • Coordinate with Human Resources to ensure all relevant documentation received for personnel files.
  • Additional duties as requested.
