The main responsibilities of the Lead Legal Counsel include structuring and establishing SPVs & funds in multiple jurisdictions, collaborating with product and technology teams on new product releases, working with external counsel on fund formation, overseeing regulatory responsibilities and interactions with regulators, drafting and negotiating contracts, implementing internal legal policies, maintaining compliance-related policies and procedures, and ensuring regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions.

What experience is required for the Lead Legal Counsel role?
The ideal candidate should have 5-8 years of PQE with deep knowledge of fund structuring and/or corporate law, preferably in the UK. Experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital, Wealth Management, or a fast-paced FinTech or Financial Services start-up is a plus, as well as knowledge of UK and EU regulatory environments for funds and/or SPVs.
