Responsibilities

  • Serve as the L&D CoE lead point of contact and learning partner for different Sobeys Business Functions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with leaders, subject matter experts and with HR colleagues and L&D colleagues who support that business.
  • Establish function specific learning roadmaps, including identifying and prioritizing the closing of critical skill and capability gaps.
  • Forecast requirements for and secure the needed resources to deliver on the function specific learning plan and roadmap.
  • Be a champion for, and advise Business Function stakeholders on skill and capability development opportunities within their teams.
  • Establish learning strategies and ensure timely and quality delivery of L&D solutions.
  • Work with the Business Function team to develop and track key metrics and provide insights that can be used for decision making.
  • Manage communications with the Business Function team to ensure that they are appropriately informed and consulted on L&D matters that impact them.
  • Assigned business function and assign HR business partner: contribute to the overall talent plans for the assigned business function, leading the input into the assessment and development of critical skills and capabilities.
