Responsibilities

  • Support both the design of high quality and effective flexible and digital learning approaches in programmes and units of study and the delivery of educational technology support that enhance education provision across the Faculty, with a particular focus on the transition of courses from Blackboard to Canvas
  • Primarily support academic course teams as they embark on programme design processes notably empowering these teams with pedagogic approaches and tools that enable excellence in student attainment and student experience
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders in order to clarify and convey potentially complex concepts or issues, including providing verbal reports to line management, programme teams and working groups
  • Work collaboratively with academic staff, other Learning Designers, IT Services staff, student partners and others who support teaching and learning in support of the University’s wider strategic aims to incorporate digital/eLearning into its programmes of study
