 MedStar Health is recruiting for a Learning Experience Designer to join our SiTEL (Simulation Education &amp; Training Lab) team.
 Designs and develops web-based and blended training solutions and associated support materials for MedStar SiTEL to support internal and external needs.
 
 
 
 Primary Duties and Responsibilities 
 <ul>
 <li>Builds, develops, and grows business relationships (both internal and external to MedStar Health) vital to the success of the project. Collaborates with a working team of instructional designers, digital artists, clinical educators, clinical simulation specialists, and subject matter experts.</li>
 <li> Builds products from existing ideas, and helps to develop new ideas based on industry experience and contracts with customers and prospects.</li>
 <li> Creates, evaluates, and modifies assessments to ensure they validate learning.</li>
 <li> Designs and develops eLearning and blended courses in accordance with learning theories, user experience design principles, and strategies using a disciplined and instructional sound design approach.</li>
 <li> Develops and delivers seminars and professional development programs for MedStar Faculty aimed at increasing understanding and skill with learning experience design templates and technologies.</li>
 <li> Develops and writes content for scripts, storyboards, and content grids for eLearning, blended, and instructor-led courses.</li>

 <li> Leads the learning experience design process for large, system-wide education initiatives.</li>
 <li> Mentors instructional designers on eLearning design and development, user experience design, managing SME relationships, technical skills in eLearning authoring, web development, innovative technologies, and in other areas as needed.</li>
 <li> Researches additional learning technologies and modalities to broaden the portfolio of learning experience and instructional design solutions offered at MedStar SiTEL (including but not limited to mobile learning, responsive design, user experience design, performance support, just-in-time training, content management, and other innovative learning technologies.</li>
 <li> Uses eLearning authoring software (Articulate Storyline 360 preferred) to design, develop, and produce highly interactive eLearning courses.  Minimum Qualifications Education
 <ul>
 <li> Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field required </li>
