Responsibilities

  • Supervising and supporting the development of a team of Paralegals within the Legal Delivery Centre's real estate function
  • Supporting (and supplementing) the work of the Paralegals in delivering a very high quality service
  • Ensuring the team delivers to internal and external client requirements
  • Building relationships with lawyers and partners across the firm's international Real Estate practice, to identify and unlock new opportunities for LDC-driven solutions
  • Applying legal real estate knowledge and understanding of the firm's alternative legal solutions to design and implement new LDC-driven processes
  • Being the key point of contact between the LDC and the real estate practice group, including ensuring projects are sufficiently staffed, tracking progress, anticipating and highlighting resourcing issues and ensuring we provide sufficient and timely updates
  • Line Management responsibility for members of the LDC's real estate team
  • Ensuring standard ways of working are adhered to and that robust checks and quality controls are in place
  • Identifying training needs and providing coaching to ensure the team have the requisite knowledge to deliver high-quality output
  • Working with real estate lawyers and the firm's broader support network to produce (and update as required) comprehensive playbooks documenting LDC processes and responsibilities
  • Assessing opportunities to improve operational processes, documentation and training
