Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • One (1) year of internship or professional experience preferred; professional services industry experience a plus.
  • Independent, self-starting, and self-motivated.
  • Superior written/verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team environment are a must.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to meet stringent deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and balance multiple tasks while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite.
  • Flexibility to travel and work non-business hours at times as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Drafts legal agreements and transaction documentation.
  • Manages deal closings and taking responsibility of all closing mechanics.
  • Frequently communicates with many high-profile clients and third parties.
  • Assists with the formation of limited partnerships, and limited liability companies.
  • Drafts officer certificates, resolutions and incumbency certificates.
  • Prepares and reviews SEC filings, Blue Sky filings, and tax forms.
  • Compiles and distributes final deal documentation.
  • Handles post-closing responsibilities, such as assembling closing sets consisting of all transaction documents and opinions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support the Investment Management Practice Group.
