Headway provides support by handling insurance credentialing, billing paperwork, offering marketing support, and patient referrals to help grow your practice.
Do I need a specific license to work with Headway?
Yes, you need to be a fully licensed Professional Counselor with licenses such as LPC, LPCC, LCPC, LCPCS, or LPCC-S, depending on your state's requirements.
Is there any cost associated with the services provided by Headway?
No, all of the services provided by Headway are completely free of charge to you.
What qualifications do I need to apply?
You need to have a valid NPI number, malpractice insurance, and be a fully licensed Professional Counselor at a master's level or above.
Can I decide my own hours and client load?
Yes, you can maintain a flexible schedule by deciding how many clients you see through Headway and setting hours that work for you.
What type of mental health services can I provide through Headway?
You can conduct psychotherapy sessions with patients and provide or oversee medication management services.
What if I'm not fully licensed yet?
At this time, Headway is unable to service mental health professionals that are not fully licensed. Your application will be rejected until you obtain a valid license.
