Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor of Education Degree and must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Qualifications appropriate to the position are required. As an applicant you must be qualified at the time of the posting to be eligible, do not apply to positions where you do not hold the qualifications.
  • Previous secondary teaching experience preferred
  • A working knowledge of the Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations, Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession, and the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession
  • A practicing Catholic with an active Catholic Faith life
  • Proficient knowledge & understanding of Ontario curriculum, evaluation & assessment techniques
  • Current in understanding of research, integrating technology and best instructional practices
  • Effective classroom management skills and ability to create a welcoming and safe Catholic learning environment for all students
