Responsibilities

  • The position is responsible to perform variety of accounting functions related to Fixed Assets - Retail
  • The job also includes Fixed Assets Capex related activities to be completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Maintain data and records in accordance with accounting standards & principles
  • Exposure to following areas will be preferred in Fixed Assets process:
  • Capex reviews for projects and analysis
  • Master Data creation and it’s maintenance including Asset creation
  • Month end Journal postings
  • Account Reconciliations
  • Review month end accruals, provisions and other journal entries
  • Perform analytical review of the reports and reconciliations
  • Build relationship and be the “Go To“ point for onshore team
  • Collaborate with peers and other project resources as and when required
  • Managing team including training and attrition of the team members
  • To work closely with Onsite team on daily deliverables, adhoc requests and new initiatives
  • To ensure adherence to published procedures, timescales and guidelines
  • To analyze the Capex expenses of the project and create reclass entries if required
  • Analyze and prepare the month end Journal entries
  • Updating and maintenance of logs and trackers in the process
  • Perform the quality check of the activities performed by the team members
  • Analyze and research all discrepancies/ open items in the account reconciliations.
  • Any other essential function that may occur from time to time as directed by the Supervisor to help to identify inefficiencies to the process and assist to drive process improvements activities
  • Ensure that the assigned targets are met in accordance with SLA and Internal standards
