Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic business partner that works collaboratively with other organizational leaders to work through current HR and business situations. Utilize a proactive approach to recognizing organizational needs and develop thought-based action plans.
  • Act as a role model of service by consistently delivering thought-out, sound, quality HR and business solutions that meet customer demands and are proactive in scope, and accessible in nature.
  • Establish and foster a professional climate, dedicated to supporting the mission, vision, values, and goals of the organization by providing value-added world class service delivery.
  • Select, train, and supervise a staff of highly functional human resources professionals who are actively engaged in furthering organizational goals through strategic partnerships.
  • Consult on HR and business strategy, with an emphasis on improving, influencing, and challenging the status quo.
  • Manage and participate on local and/or organization wide committees that focus on projects that move the organization forward and toward meeting organization goals. Prepare reports on the end product and results, the benefits of the output, and how to put it into action.
  • Develop staff toward their identified and desired next career step. Recognize areas of improvement and strengths. Capitalize on strengths and focus on improving needs.
  • Promote an overall positive employee experience. Strive for active employee engagement and identify ways to retain employees on an individual level.
  • Effectively communicate expectations with business, operational, and HR partners while promoting a One Team collaborative atmosphere in which all functions of HR work together as one team.
  • Continuously hone skills and upgrade business acumen, to stay abreast of industry trends. Demonstrate capabilities and professional knowledge, and the ability to assimilate new knowledge.
