Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Director P&C, Yacht Operations, the Manager will assist with the creation and implementation of the long-term People Plan for Four Seasons Yacht Operations, both for the shore-based organization and supporting the teams on the Yachts. This role will support both pre-opening activities and provide ongoing P&C support post launch.
  • The Manager will support the P&C team to provide ongoing people management support, advice and P&C operational services to Yacht Operations leaders enabling them to make informed business decisions that have People implications.
  • The Manager will support the DP&C and Four Seasons Yacht Operations leaders at various levels, to support creation and implementation of appropriate solutions in the following disciplines, setting the foundation for ongoing operational excellence – recruitment and retention of staff, performance management, training, employee engagement, employee relations, total rewards, labor relations, workers compensation and change management.
  • The Manager will collaborate with functional/department leaders to:
  • Support pre-opening recruitment initiatives and foster employee engagement through the Four Seasons culture, this includes job postings, interviewing, reference checks, offer letters, etc.
  • Support the Benefits Administration during onboarding and reconcile monthly billings.
  • Support the Payroll function for Shoreside YCT employees.
  • Support the Onboarding of shoreside and shipboard staff.
  • Partner with the DP&C and other leaders to implement the benchmark Four Seasons Standards.
  • Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers while maintaining the confidentiality of People & Culture.
  • Support the performance & talent management strategies.
  • Ensure that our P&C Technology platform is utilized and updated with employee information for the Yachts.
