Responsibilities

  • Manage UK-based and cross-border regulatory enforcement matters, investigations, and litigation from end to end.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to the business by ensuring that commercially sensitive, pragmatic and practical legal support and advice is provided in a cost-effective manner.
  • Establish and develop a strategy for the coordination and promotion of initiatives that result in the sharing of legal knowledge and best practices with and across the team/business.
  • Undertake root cause analyses and "lessons learned" to minimise and prevent recurrence of non-financial risks.
  • Provide strong, proactive leadership including guidance, challenge, support, and development for junior team members, as well as to team members in other jurisdictions and to colleagues outside of Legal with whom we often partner on our matters.
