Responsibilities

  • Comply with EHS & Quality requirements in accordance with Wabtec policy and procedures.
  • Coordinate material movements for service jobs, manufacturing, and spares orders to maintain production workflow and meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Open, maintain and closure of manufacturing work orders.
  • Raising RFQ’s, requisitions and online orders for consumables and 3rd party works.
  • Capture and prepare relevant information to maintain registers and reports.
  • Escalate material issues such as damage, quality, shortages, delays.
  • Coordinate stock takes and cycle counts.
  • Coordinate with sub-contractors and suppliers for material requirements.
  • Contribute with continuous improvement, lean and 5S initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customer contacts.
  • Resolve issues and negotiate favourable outcomes in a professional manner.
  • Ensure the working environment is always maintained in a clean and safe condition.
  • Take ownership of responsibilities and actively contribute towards the achievement of business performance goals, delivery timeframes and customer satisfaction.
  • Willing to work outside or beyond normal hours to support business requirements.
  • Domestic or International travel may be required.
  • Perform other related duties as required to support business requirements.
