Responsibilities

  • Identify development/ improvement area in selected sub-model used in current analysis method.
  • Conduct literature survey and propose improvement.
  • Implement improvements in sub-model and validate. Integrate to existing analysis method.
  • Evaluate performance of baseline design.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, suggest improved design.
  • Evaluate new design till the design objective is achieved.
  • Build CAD model for fluid volume and/or fluid + solid volume in CAD.
  • Generate high quality Aero and/or Aero-CHT Mesh for high fidelity CFD analysis.
  • Perform CFD analysis (RANS and LES), predict component performance, operability, life and emission as applicable.
  • Post-process CFD results, prepare detailed analysis reports including recommendation on design and analysis methods as applicable.
