Responsibilities

  • It is the overall objective for all of our roles to participate in creating and enhancing our safety culture
  • To support this you’ll log quality hazards and ensure resulting actions are closed out. This helps make our spaces safer and improve the safety culture
  • Regularly review all hazards associated with the operation and ensure they are clearly identified and assessed
  • Safeguard works by operating Lock Out/Tag Out System
  • You will ensure the maintenance of site life and building safety systems
  • You will ensure that the routine testing of interlocks and emergency stop buttons throughout the facility is undertaken
  • Sub contractor management is needed in this role and you will be required to review third party risk assessments, methods statements and award permits through the online permitting system
  • You will be knowledgeable with CBRE/Client policies and procedures and carry out all duties in compliance with these policies / procedures
  • Safety of the team is a key focus and you ensure a safe & healthy working environment, through compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements
  • Safety is achieved through complying with process you will ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are reviewed for all actions identified are carried out to ensure safe working practices
  • You wear and ensure the use of personal protective equipment when conditions require or when required to do so by the relevant risk assessment, method statement or mandatory signage
  • When required you will review, interpret and implement new regulations applicable to the operation of the facility in cooperation with the Client
  • CBRE has deployed well developed and thorough QHSE Log books you are expected to Maintain these as required
  • You strive for ZERO reportable accidents / incidents as result of CBRE action or inaction (CBRE Corporate / Country Legislative reportable requirement)
  • You report all accidents, occupational illnesses and emergencies
  • You ensure the Integrated Environmental Health and Safety Management Systems are adhered to at all times

  • Servicing of plantroom equipment.
  • Reporting of defects and preparation of remedial repair quotes
  • Insure compliance with PPM and reactive tasks SLA’s
  • Attendance to reactive call outs as and when required
  • Carry out servicing of mechanical plant such as AHU’s, FCU’s, Pumps etc.
  • Servicing of boilers
  • Servicing of splits. VRV’s. VRF’s and Chiller plant
  • You actively contribute to team huddles and meetings where applicable
  • You ensure all specific facilities issues are logged and ensure remedial actions are completed proactively
  • You strive to achieve 100% Availability/uptime relating to critical service as result of CBRE action or inaction
  • You ensure ad hoc support requests are recorded within CBRE systems
  • You liaise with colleagues and specialist contractors to ensure all requests are responded to promptly
  • You should actively seek to inform all relevant team members of any instances where service could be impacted at the time it occurs
  • As required you will test and certify systems and equipment
  • You ensure installations comply with existing legislation and are labelled in accordance with agreed standards
  • You seek to provide the best outcomes for the site through ensuring that all equipment meets statutory requirements and is maintained in accordance with best practices and/or manufacturers recommendations
  • You take pride in your space and maintain and upkeep the plant areas
  • You contribute to planning the preventative maintenance routines
  • You contribute to research & development of proposals to improve the performance of the systems
  • You strive to ensure all planned maintenance of equipment is completed in line with the contract requirements

  • You look to support self perform maintenance tasks on the contract through ensuring they are registered on the CMMS system (Maximo)
  • You understand the importance of the CMMS system (Maximo) and the dependance on accurate data as such you ensure the system reflects accurate asset lists, maintenance records and historic records
  • You contribute to the management of asset data for life cycle asset management
  • You will host & induct specialist sub-contractors, and ensure they confirm to site requirements
