What is the main responsibility of the Mental Health Support Teams Involvement Coordinator?
The main responsibility is to ensure that service users and carers are included in the planning, development, and delivery of mental health services within CAMHS, while facilitating and enabling involvement opportunities.
Is experience with mental health services a requirement for the role?
While direct experience is not strictly required, we strongly encourage applications from individuals with lived or living experience of accessing mental health services, as this experience is valued and may count toward equivalent qualifications.
What kind of involvement opportunities will the Involvement Coordinator help with?
The Involvement Coordinator will help with capturing feedback from service users, interviewing staff during recruitment processes, co-delivering training for staff, and participating in service development meetings and forums.
Who will provide supervision and support for this role?
Line management and supervision will be provided by the Lead for the Whole School Approach, EBSA, and FE, along with additional support from the central involvement team.
