Responsibilities

  • As a Merchandiser for our General Merchandise team at Sainsbury's Argos, you will play a crucial role in executing a customer-facing, multi-channel merchandising strategy for the Lego® category/ranges, aligning with the overall commercial strategy to drive profitable growth.
  • This involves analysing markets, customer profiles, and supplier knowledge to develop the category/range framework and create budgets that support the strategy.
  • You will continuously review performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and contribute to trade reviews and post-implementation reviews.
  • Managing stock levels, supply chain logistics, and supplier relationships will be essential, along with collaborating with cross-functional teams on activities such as space optimisation and joint business planning.
