  • Job Requirements:
  • - Must have a qualified degree in Veterinary Medicine
  • - RCVS registration, ready to start the MRCVS Process
  • - Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team, including sharing cases and discussing various treatment options
  • - Demonstrable interest in ECC cases, medicine and surgery
  • - Must be enthusiastic, confident and motivated
  • - Full UK driving licence is essential

No, there are no out-of-hours or on-call requirements as we have a dedicated night team.

You will receive 10 CPD days a year, covering both clinical and non-clinical skills tailored to your clinical role.

No relocation is required for this position in Smethwick, but internal transfers are available within our network of over 500 practices should you wish to relocate in the future.

How many weeks of annual leave do I receive?

You will receive up to 7 weeks of annual leave plus Bank Holidays, with the option to purchase an additional two weeks through our Buy/Sell holiday scheme.

Are there opportunities for surgical experience?

Yes, as a 24-hour hospital, you will have the opportunity to follow cases from admit to discharge and will have access to an in-house surgical referral service.
