Responsibilities

  • The successful applicant will be responsible for and involved in doing pre-employment / pre-placement occupational health screening, immunisation screening, dealing with sharps injuries and contamination incidents, delivering vaccination programmes, undertaking health surveillance such as skin checks and participating in outbreak investigations and meetings. The department is open Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:00 although you will need to have some flexibility around hours from time to time. Most of the duties are based at the University of Southampton Hospital site but you may be required to work at other sites at planned times according to the needs of our clients.
