  • Conduct regular physical check of hospital stocks, i.e. emergency drugs, equipment’s etc. and follow up for the expiry of drugs and functioning of equipment’s.
  • Assist in initiating procedure for condemnation and procurement of hospital equipment/linen etc.
  • Maintain the confidential report and records of nursing personnel.
  • Assist the Nursing Supdt. in making master duty roster of nursing personnel.
  • Assist the Nursing Superintendent in Recruitment of nursing staff.
  • Assist the Nursing Supdt. on planning and organizing nursing services in the hospital.
  • Officiate in the absence of Nursing Supdt.
  • Investigate complaints if any and generate report to NS.
  • Keep the NS informed of the happenings in the wards.
  • Motivates and educates staff to adopt new practice changes incorporating evidence-based practices that promote positive patient outcomes. She will serve as mentor, role model, and preceptor to influence staff nurses' professional development.
  • Responsible for compliance of all training programmes of the nurses of the department together with continuing education for all nursing staff.
