The primary purpose of the Onsite SLA Technician role is to perform various tasks related to explosives key management and locks, provide onsite support to customers, inspect and troubleshoot systems and equipment, and maintain communication with stakeholders to drive productivity and client centricity.
What qualifications are required for this position?
Candidates should have proven experience as a low voltage technician, experience with LAN/WAN networks, and thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components. Additionally, 2+ years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance is required.
Is previous mining experience necessary for this role?
Mining experience is considered an advantage, and underground work experience is also beneficial.
What kind of support will the Onsite SLA Technician provide?
The technician will provide hardware support, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning of equipment. They will also offer software support, including system reports, remote assistance, and user access management.
What are the working hours for this position?
The role requires the technician to work shifts that include morning and night shifts, and after-hour calls may also be necessary.
Will I be required to perform installations of equipment?
Yes, the technician will be responsible for the installation and replacement of Traka equipment and peripherals, assembling and configuring systems, and ensuring safe operation of electrical reticulation.

Candidates should have a basic understanding of Windows-based computers, database concepts, networking, and should be proficient in database programming and software installation, as well as good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
