  • Provide day-to-day management of internal Department Divisions including, Budget & Finance, Information Technology, and Facility Maintenance
  • Implement, administer, monitor, and guide Department projects and contracts to completion / renewal, allowing Department scientific staff to focus on their primary role of examining decedents and testing evidence
  • Advocate and negotiate on behalf of the Department with outside vendors and other county departments to ensure Department needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Serve as the Department’s primary liaison with other county agencies including County Attorney’s Office, Engineering, Universal Services, and Purchasing, to maximize Department operations and efficiencies
  • Assist in the drafting of RFP requirements, agreements, and service contracts to ensure Department protection
