Responsibilities

  • Core research duties include development of research protocols, management of Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications, patient recruitment and data collection in the Musculoskeletal Institute’s Lower Extremity Integrated Practice Unit (IPU).
  • Involvement in operational projects, including quality improvement work related to patient-reported outcome collection and follow-up. Serve as the patient-reported outcome measure facilitator. Attend business strategy and management meetings as appropriate.
  • Dissemination of research results and value-based care delivery model through preparation of abstracts, presentations and manuscripts for multiple publications.
  • Other research duties may include but are not limited to: literature review; data entry and analysis; administrative duties as needed to support research projects.
  • Supervise undergraduate and medical student research volunteers in clinic in patient recruitment and data collection.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
