What qualifications are required for the Paralegal position?
Candidates should ideally have 1-3 years of experience at a previous solicitors firm dealing with private client work, as well as at least three Grade B's or above at A level and a minimum 2:1 qualification for degree holders.
Is there an opportunity for career advancement?
Yes, the chosen candidate will have the opportunity to train to become a solicitor through the chartered legal executive route with support from I Will Solicitors.
What type of work will the Paralegal be involved in?
The Paralegal will focus on private client work, including Wills, inheritance tax planning, probate, trusts, and Court of Protection matters, as well as potentially specializing in Shariah-compliant Islamic Wills.
Is experience in private client law mandatory?
Yes, at least six months private client law experience is a requirement, although exceptional candidates without this experience may still be considered.
Will there be training provided for the CILEx qualification?
Yes, I Will Solicitors will support the completion of the CILEx qualification, including funding for the LPC course.
Is an interest in Shariah law necessary for this position?
Yes, an interest in Shariah law and its implications and application under English law is listed as a desirable attribute for candidates.
