Responsibilities

  • Process and validate payroll information
  • Assist with the administration and processing of payroll activities
  • Issue Records of employment
  • Process, compile and submit Garnishments
  • Respond in a timely manner to colleagues on payroll matters involving both written and verbal communication
  • Process required profile changes (sick, vacation, hourly rates etc.) in compliance with Employment Standards Acts, Union Agreements, and Company Policies.
  • In depth understanding of over 400 Union Agreements
  • Other tasks as assigned
  • Implement and manage payroll accounting processes and solutions within Workday platforms.
