Responsibilities

  • Security Strategy & Operations: Develop, implement, and manage physical security policies, procedures, and standards across APJ offices, ensuring alignment with global security goals.
  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Lead risk assessments and vulnerability analyses for all sites, identifying and addressing security risks, and implementing appropriate countermeasures.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Manage relationships with local security service providers, ensuring quality and performance in the areas of guarding, surveillance, and access control.
  • Emergency Response & Incident Management: Oversee emergency response protocols, crisis management, and incident investigations across the region, ensuring rapid and effective resolution.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams including HR, IT, Workplace Operations, Legal, and Compliance, to implement security initiatives and ensure alignment with corporate goals.
  • Compliance & Auditing: Ensure compliance with local and international security regulations and company policies, conducting regular audits and inspections of security measures and infrastructure.
  • Training & Development: Provide ongoing training and development programs for security staff and employees, ensuring awareness and preparedness in emergency and security situations.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage security budgets for the region, optimizing resources and ensuring cost-effective security solutions.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to the Director of Global Physical Security & Safety, highlighting regional security concerns, ongoing projects, and recommendations for improvement.
