Responsibilities

  • Dealing with non-RTA subrogated recoveries. Reviewing instructions, sending our letter before action and initial correspondence to the policyholder and client and following any agreed escalation processes.
  • Organising, prioritising and handling own workload in line with standard operating procedures to ensure that critical dates are met and KPI’s and SLA’s are achieved including processing client account balances within 5 working days and transferring files to litigation by Day 28.
  • Correctly identifying quantum, liability and/or Third Party indemnity issues and completing any additional enquiries to ensure that files are transferred in a timely manner.
  • Acting as a backstop to resolve any cases 9m+ prior to the 12m time limit.
  • Ensuring that files transferred to litigation are ready to be issued.
  • Effective use of the case management system to ensure: All MI is accurate and updated in a timely manner, including updating the present position following each file touch. Critical dates and SLA’s are met. All actions/strategies are documented by way of a file note. All documents in the history are clearly labelled.
  • Delivering quality work, as a minimum meeting audit benchmark standards.
  • Driving own personal development.
  • Contributes to team effort by working collaboratively to ensure that team targets are achieved and by positively contributing to team moral.
