Responsibilities

  • This position will be based in Sales and Marketing center in Pune. The position will be individual contributor & part of APMR’s Pricing analytic team. The position will require working in a cross functional team to manage price approval process along with pricing data in a sustainable way. The incumbent will work in partnership with price operations team members to standardize processes, metrics, and scorecards for Quality, Productivity, Operations. Incumbent will support the country sales organizations for component-based price management in assigned region(s) or country(s) including Pricing approvals, contract quotes, and requests. Liaison with Pricing/Business Analyst and Regional Pricing Manager, Eaton Sales Team, and Product Management. Support projects or programs for price and quote management, with coordination of cross-functional resources.
  • Discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data. Help to make smarter decisions to business by delivering a single source for truth for data. Primary focus would be in applying advance analytics methods and techniques to provide insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Calculates price quotations, and discounts, and triggers prices using Price Index, mark-ups, and established guidelines.
  • Maintains quotes, contracts, pricing structures, and price lists electronically and in different databases. Resolves data integrity issues when present (incorrect prices, discounts, quotes, etc).
  • Support in providing recommendations on price quotations (beyond established guidelines) and/or price discount programs by performing analysis of cost information, competitive pricing, and profitability.
  • Consult with Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, and plant personnel when needed.
  • Support in executing projects of strategic importance in the areas of Price Management.
  • Support Product Line managers, Pricing Managers, Finance teams & Sales leaders in pricing processes that build pricing sophistication and overall profitability.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance current processes to reduce risk through effective use of price analytics.
