Requirements

  • 5 or more years of full-time, hands-on experience as a Product Analyst or similar role
  • Expert SQL skills
  • Proficiency with one of Python or R
  • Experience with a data visualization tool (we use Tableau)
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts, including causal inference techniques and regression modeling
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven history of decision-making excellence and cross-functional influence through insights
  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in a quantitative field (such as Statistics, Economics, etc)

Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of our complex datasets and interpret them as they relate to understanding our artists, songs, and fans and other new product development
  • Communicate insights clearly across functions and multiple levels of the organization
  • Analytical thought-partner on problem definition, KPI and metrics development, data visualization, and implementation of analytical/statistical models
  • Design, analyze, and report on experiments to understand impact of new product features and make recommendations about launches
  • Proactively find opportunities for improvement across the business and assist in decision-making across teams
