The main responsibilities include leading the CEI team, preparing meeting agendas, managing project documentation, coordinating inspection staff, ensuring quality control, and interpreting plans and specifications.
What educational qualifications are required for this position?
A Civil Engineering degree is required along with 2 years of engineering experience in construction of major road and bridge structures. Alternatively, a non-degreed candidate needs 8 years of relevant engineering experience, with 2 years in construction of major road or bridge structures.
Is a valid driver's license required for this position?
Yes, a valid driver's license with an approved/acceptable driving history is required.
Are there any certification requirements for this position?
Yes, candidates must have FDOT Advanced MOT, CTQP Final Estimates Level II, and must attend and pass the CTQP QC Manager Course and complete the Critical Structures Construction Issues, Self-Study Course.
What are the typical working hours for this position?
The position requires a minimum of 40 hours a week.
