Responsibilities

  • - Lead and coordinate preliminary collection system, substation and transmission design, as well as electrical and civil design basis of assigned projects.
  • - Help facilitate preliminary engineering design activities including geotechnical, lidar hydrology and electrical.
  • - Participates in Project review led by the Phase Leader (Project Development, Project Implementation). Attends weekly/monthly meetings associated with the project review.
  • - Serve as technical interface/lead with respective teams, including Development, Permitting, Interconnection, Estimating, Procurement, Resource Assessment and Project Management teams.
  • - Manage external 3rd- party engineering. Collaborate externally and internally throughout projects in development, with consideration of EDF technical specifications and lessons learned.
  • - Supports EDF team for technology review and equipment.
  • - Works closely with EDF Development on permitting requirements to ensure designs meet the.
  • - Support EDF Developers and conduct development site visit to support site.
  • - Provide technical assistance in preparing EPC contractor Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Collaborate with the project implementation team for smooth transition from development to construction and as needed during the execution phase.
