What are the main responsibilities of a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner at Merton Talking Therapies?
The main responsibilities include providing high volume low intensity interventions, delivering cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based self-management interventions to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression, and working within a stepped-care model for common mental health problems.
What qualifications are required for this position?
Candidates should have appropriate training as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner and experience in providing evidence-based psychological interventions in line with NICE guidance.
Will I receive supervision and training?
Yes, you will receive regular clinical supervision from a Band 7 Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or CBT Therapist and have opportunities to attend in-house training sessions and clinical skills groups.
What are the working hours for this position?
The service operates from 8am to 8pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 5pm on Friday. You will be required to work at least one evening per week.
