Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will join a well-established IAPT team including Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, Cognitive Behavioural Therapists and Counsellors.
  • The PWP role is highly valued and seen as an integral part of what we do.
  • Our PWP’s provide suitability assessments and evidence based Low Intensity CBT interventions for people with common mental health difficulties, such as anxiety and depression through face to face, telephone and digital methods.
  • We offer 1:1, workshops and online treatments.
  • The post holder will work with people from different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to recognising and valuing diversity and providing equal opportunities for all.
  • We are keen to develop the skills of our PWPs and there are opportunities to get involved in exciting and innovative projects, such as working with long-term conditions, and for career development.
  • We offer in house training to ensure ongoing support and skills development is provided.
  • Daily drop-in supervision sessions are available to provide ample opportunity to support you with your high-volume caseload.
