Responsibilities

  • Ensure the overall quality of solutions through executing all aspects of Quality Assurance in every phase of the software development life cycle.
  • Ensure test results align with business functional and technical requirements, system compliance, and integration specifications.
  • Primary liaison for testing expertise for business participants on user acceptance test support.
  • Create test plans/strategy, scenarios, scripts, and expected results and execute the required testing accordingly, either independently or in partnership with internal or external parties.
  • Configure, implement, validate, and maintain test data and test environments.
  • Log, track, and report test results and communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
  • Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the development team.
  • Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meets business expectations.
  • Support initiatives to improve existing and/or implement new QA processes within the organization.
  • Support the evaluation, deployment and management of test automation tools to improve efficiencies.
  • Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application testing best practices.
  • Contribute to the overall team development by collaborating with and actively participating in team activities to expand the technical capabilities through continuous learning and sharing of skills and knowledge.
  • Actively participate in meetings to solve technical or quality related issues.
  • Take an active part in estimating and planning of the effort and timelines of any activities related to the software systems development and implementation.
