  • Experience developing, improving, executing and scaling LER programs, workflows, standard work, and matter/resource governance.

Responsibilities

  • Drive functional strategy for the NA LER COE in a matrixed environment, providing employee relations support to operating companies across the U.S. and Canada with their own cultures and policies.
  • Ensure that the LER COE NA team meets applicable operational, quality, and service level requirements within the core LER Pillars. Currently, the NA LER COE core pillars include Human Resources investigations, individual separations for performance, misconduct, or the like; employee-medical and religious accommodations, including leaves of absence; performance management, including performance-improvement plans, and other disciplinary action; and reductions-in-force, restructuring based separations, and other group terminations, etc.
  • Develop and proliferate scalable best practices, including use of workflows and process-oriented solutions to promote organizational effectiveness in LER service delivery, and effectively champion consistent and sustained adoption of Standard Work and best practice tools by the NA LER COE, HR organization and other stakeholders through leadership-influence, training and other methods.
  • Analyze case data to (i) improve LER service efficiencies and effectiveness based on metrics driven continuous improvement; (ii) identify trends and areas for additional education, process, or remedial action; and (iii) ensure achievement of applicable operational, quality, and service level requirements.
  • Lead a team of experienced, professional ER Specialists, with a balance of humility and gravitas, to ensure high performance and delivery of high-quality LER services and to foster each team member’s continued talent development and career growth
  • Manage a portfolio of assigned cases within the core pillars that have more significant sensitivity, complexity or risk.
  • Act as an escalation point for Human Resources and business clients, and other stakeholders on matters handled by the NA LER COE team, to develop a resolution consistent with the mission and vision of the LER COE, balancing business realities and priorities.
