Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Manager of The Family Birthing Centre, the successful applicant will be responsible for providing evidenced based, comprehensive, safe, effective and ethical nursing care to all clients in the labour and delivery and postpartum units of the hospital.
  • Safety (patient, worker & workplace) is a BCHS Corporate Priority. The successful applicant will demonstrate good stewardship in the identification, reporting and mitigation of unsafe acts or conditions.
